Power System Training
Overview of Power System Training

At Bigeta Energy Solutions, our Power System training is grounded in extensive hands-on experience and real-world project execution across some of India’s most demanding industrial and commercial environments. Our expertise is built on successfully delivering Power System Studies and Analyses for a wide range of reputed organizations, including ITC, Saint-Gobain, TVS Motor, Jubilant Biosys, FIAT, STT, Aurigene Discovery, Raichem and several others. The Power System Training at Bigeta Energy Solutions is a hands-on programme designed to equip engineers, technicians, and power system professionals with the practical skills to model, simulate, and analyse real electrical networks using the latest licensed version of ETAP software.
Every module is shaped by the challenges we have encountered and resolved on actual sites, from utilities and manufacturing plants to Data Centres and Pharmaceutical facilities, ensuring that the knowledge gained is highly relevant, readily applicable in real-world scenarios and fully aligned with industry best practices and safety standards. Through hands-on learning, with practical examples, participants will see how Simulation Tools are being used by Industries, Utilities, Commercial Facilities and Data Centres to facilitate Engineering documentation and operational decision-making. This course focuses on developing a context to create Electrical Network Models, conduct Simulation under various Operating Conditions and interpret analytical results to enhance System Performance.
Power System Training

The program also covers key Power System Studies performed in Simulation tools, including Load Flow Analysis, Short Circuit Calculations, Protective Relay Coordination, Arc Flash Hazard Analysis and Reliability Assessment. Participants will develop skills in creating single-line diagrams, defining equipment parameters, and simulating various operating scenarios such as normal and contingency conditions. The training focuses on interpreting study results to evaluate system loading, fault levels, protection selectivity, incident energy levels and network reliability. Practical case studies enable participants to understand industry best practices for electrical system planning, protection coordination and compliance with relevant safety and engineering standards.
